Denominator
The denominator is the bottom number in a fraction. It shows how many equal parts the whole is divided into.
Example
In the fraction $\frac{3}{4}$, the denominator is $4$. This means the whole has been divided into $4$ equal parts, and we are considering $3$ of them.
