Basic Mathematics Exam JSON Inventory

Imported Files

The starter includes 35 Basic Mathematics exam JSON files under raw/exams/csee/json/basic_math/ (source: data/question_inventory.jsonl).

The inventory spans CSEE Basic Mathematics Paper 1 files from 1994 through 2025, including several private-candidate variants (source: data/question_inventory.jsonl).

Extraction Status

The first generated inventory marks 31 files as valid_extraction, 3 files as needs_manual_review, and 1 file as schema_invalid (source: data/question_inventory.jsonl).

These statuses come from a combination of JSON parsing, section/question presence, and the DAX extraction log (source: raw/exams/csee/json/_extraction_log.csv; source: data/question_inventory.jsonl).

Review Rule

Even valid_extraction files are not official question records yet. They should be checked against the original exam PDFs before being used for topic tagging, solutions, marking schemes, or student-facing pages.

Next Use

This inventory is useful for later analytics, such as topic frequency, year coverage, question-type patterns, and identifying which exams need manual cleanup first.
