Basic Mathematics
Current Learner Path
For the temporary public wiki, Mathematics leads with Mathematics. This is the current learner and exam-facing Basic Mathematics path for CSEE preparation while the 2023 Mathematics syllabus is treated as a transition/upcoming path expected to take effect from January 2027.
Use Mathematics first for learner topic order, Forms I-IV, current exam-facing topic placement, and the enriched Basic Mathematics chapter pages.

+ Assessment
The syllabus assigns 70 percent of the final score to the Form Four National Examination and 30 percent to continuous assessment components (source: raw/syllabuses/csee/2023/csee_mathematics_syllabus_2023.pdf).
+ Exam Inventory
The starter includes 35 imported Basic Mathematics exam JSON files in raw/exams/csee/json/basic_math/; these are recorded in data/question_inventory.jsonl and remain unverified until checked against the original papers.
+ Assessment Format
The official 2022 CSEE examination formats booklet defines Basic Mathematics as one three-hour paper with 14 compulsory questions worth 100 marks (source: raw/syllabuses/csee/CSEE_FORMATS_2022.pdf).
The assessment-format layer is summarized in Basic Mathematics Exam Format 2022 and stored in data/exam_format_map.json, data/basic_math_format_topics_2022.json, and data/exam_format_topic_crosswalk_2022.jsonl.
2023 Transition
The official 2023 Mathematics syllabus remains available at CSEE Mathematics Syllabus 2023 for transition planning and future curriculum work. It should not be treated as the lead learner path on the temporary public wiki until the 2027 transition point.
NECTA Wiki keeps 2005 and 2023 Mathematics identities separate so current exam-facing learning, transition planning, and future crosswalk work do not collapse into one mixed syllabus.
