Whole numbers are the set of non-negative integers. They include all natural counting numbers and zero, meaning they do not contain any fractions, decimals, or negative values.

The set of whole numbers is conventionally denoted as $W = \{0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, \dots\}$.
