Power
The number of times a base number is multiplied by itself in algebra, often represented by an exponent. In applied mathematics and mechanics, it can also refer to the rate at which work is done or energy is transferred over time.
Example
In the expression $5^3$, the base is $5$ and the power (or exponent) is $3$. It means $5 \times 5 \times 5 = 125$.
