Longitude
Longitude is the angular distance of a place east or west of the Prime Meridian. In three-dimensional Earth geometry, longitudes are represented by imaginary semi-circles (meridians) drawn from the North Pole to the South Pole.
Example
The city of Dodoma is located at a longitude of approximately $35^\circ \text{ E}$.
