Factorization
Factorization is the process of breaking down a number or an algebraic expression into a product of simpler factors (numbers, variables, or polynomials) which, when multiplied together, yield the original expression.
Example
The factorization of the quadratic expression $x^2 - 9$ is $(x - 3)(x + 3)$.
