Expression
An expression is a combination of numbers, variables, and mathematical operations (such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) that represents a specific quantity. Unlike an equation, an expression does not contain an equals sign.
Example
$5x^2 - 3x + 7$ is an algebraic expression consisting of three terms.
