Square

A square is a regular quadrilateral, which means it has four equal sides and four equal angles (90-degree right angles). In arithmetic, the square of a number is the result of multiplying that number by itself.

Example

For geometry, a square with side length $s = 4$ cm has an area of $A = s^2 = 16$ cm$^2$. In arithmetic, the square of $5$ is $5^2 = 5 \times 5 = 25$.
