Rate
A rate is a special type of ratio that compares two different quantities with different units of measurement. Rates are frequently used to express how one quantity changes in relation to another, such as speed or unit price.
Example
If a car travels 120 kilometers in 2 hours, its average speed is a rate calculated as: $$ \text{Rate} = \frac{120 \text{ km}}{2 \text{ hours}} = 60 \text{ km/h} $$
