Inequality
An inequality is a mathematical statement comparing two expressions that are not necessarily equal, using symbols such as $<$ (less than), $>$ (greater than), $\le$ (less than or equal to), or $\ge$ (greater than or equal to).

The statement $x - 2 > 5$ is an inequality indicating that $x$ must be strictly greater than $7$.
