Diameter
A diameter is a straight line segment that passes through the center of a circle or sphere, with both of its endpoints lying on the shape's boundary. It is the longest distance across the shape and is exactly twice the length of the radius.
Example
If a circle has a radius of $r = 7 \text{ cm}$, its diameter is calculated as $d = 2r = 14 \text{ cm}$.
